The breakthrough idea was not to participate in a B2C market, which was highly saturated, but in a market which could be penetrated to its core. This was the B2B market. The idea was to become the consolidators of the luxurious hotels for the travel agents in Ahmedabad and become one point solution for all their luxurious lodging needs. Furthermore, they solved the challenge of managing clients abroad by forming a DMC (Destination Management Company) in Hong Kong. A destination management company (DMC) is a professional services company with local knowledge, expertise and resources; working in the design and implementation of events, activities, tours, transportation and program logistics. By establishing a DMC in Hong Kong, they addressed the biggest problem of Indian travellers: language and food.
